01 / WHAT IT DOES

TV control on the phone you already use.

REMO TV brings controls for your television and other entertainment devices to your phone. The idea is simple: an everyday action, like changing what you are watching, should not depend on finding another device.

Instead of interrupting a film to look for the remote, you can reach for the phone that is usually nearby. It is designed to make home entertainment feel a little more convenient.

02 / HOW IT HELPS

Less searching between the cushions.

01

Use your phone as a remote

Access TV control actions from your phone rather than relying on the physical remote every time.

02

Control your entertainment

Bring TV and compatible entertainment-device controls into a more accessible experience.

03

Get back to the good part

Change what you watch or adjust the experience without breaking the moment to hunt for another control.

03 / IN DETAIL

Everything REMO TV can help you do.

REMO TV aims to turn your phone into a universal remote for TV and entertainment. It discovers compatible devices, remembers those you have paired and shows the controls each one can use.

01

Connect once, come back whenever you like

With your phone and TV on the same Wi-Fi network, REMO TV looks for compatible devices. Once you select and authorise one, the app can remember it for next time.

  • Automatic discovery and pairing for compatible televisions.
  • Multiple saved TVs, whether in the living room, bedroom, kitchen or another home.
  • A default TV that the app attempts to reconnect to when opened.
  • No account required.
02

The controls you expect from a remote

A clear screen brings the familiar actions together. REMO TV is designed to detect a TV's capabilities and hide or disable controls that the model cannot support.

  • Power off and, where the protocol allows it, power on through systems such as Wake-on-LAN.
  • Volume, mute and channel changes on devices that support them.
  • Directional navigation, OK, Home, Back and Menu.
  • Play, pause, skip and the phone keyboard for entering searches.
03

Your services, closer at hand

Alongside general TV controls, the interface includes shortcuts to television and entertainment services. A shortcut opens the corresponding app only when the TV and platform allow it.

  • Primary shortcuts for TV, Movistar Plus+ and Orange TV when technically compatible.
  • Planned shortcuts for Netflix, YouTube, Prime Video, Disney+ and Max.
  • A view of compatible apps installed on the television.
04

Designed for different brands

Not every TV uses the same technical language. REMO TV therefore plans brand-specific connectors and prioritises direct control across the local network where possible.

  • Architecture for Samsung, LG, Android TV/Google TV, Fire TV and future compatible devices.
  • Commands sent from phone to TV over Wi-Fi whenever the hardware allows it.
  • A planned free version with a discreet AdMob banner and a one-time €4.99 / $4.99 ad-free option.

Power on, channels, keyboard input and shortcuts depend on the TV's brand, model, protocol and installed apps; not every control works on every television.

04 / IN EVERYDAY LIFE

Movie night starts when you are ready.

You settle onto the sofa, the snacks are ready and the remote is nowhere to be found. REMO TV offers the natural answer: use the phone already in your hand and carry on watching.
