What if closing a strategy game did not stop the world you were building? That is the idea behind My Second Empire, a military strategy project in development with the collaboration of YouTuber iaPlay. His involvement in the game's creation is an important part of its story.
The concept begins with a base on a living map. From there you would build facilities, gather resources, research new capabilities and send forces to explore and claim territory. Land, air and naval movements share the same world, so a bridge, a river or an unexplored route can change your plan.
A world worth planning for
The proposed persistent simulation would keep production, research and movement going while you are away. Fog of war would reveal the map gradually, giving every scouting decision a purpose. Battles are designed to unfold on that same map rather than in a detached combat screen.
These are the ambitions guiding development, not a promise that the game is playable today. This preview video offers a first look at its world; we will share more as the project takes shape.
